Het scenario voor deze kortstrip was één van de eerste strips die ik ooit schreef. Dat was in  2007. Het scenario lag stof te vergaren tot Jan van Doornspeek het las en het wou uittekenen. Omdat het zo’n oud ding was en het om een vrij oppervlakkige parodie en satire ging had ik bijna geweigerd. De aanpak die Jan voorstelde wist me echter te prikkelen en met zijn tekeningen slaagde Jan erin om het verhaal een extra laag en een dromerige sfeer mee te geven die ik nooit had verwacht.

Deze strip werd in twee delen gepubliceerd in het Australische stripblad Fist Full of Comics  in Vol. 3 nr. 5 in november 2010 en in Vol. 3 nr. 6 in december 2010.

The script for this comic was written way back in 2007 and was one of the first comic scripts I ever wrote. It was in the process of decaying in a dark corner of my computer’s hard disc until Jan van Doornspeek read it and offered to draw it. Because this was such a one-dimensional parody and satire I almost declined but Jan gained my interest with the approach he proposed. With his art Jan succeeded in giving the story an extra layer and a dreamy atmosphere I never tought was possible.

This comic was published in two parts in the Australian comic magazine Fist Full of Comics: part one in Vol. 3 #5 in November 2010 and part 2 in Vol. 3 #6 in December 2010.
