In 2009 besloot ik om eens een scenario te proberen schrijven voor 2000AD. Dat is een Brits stripblad vol sciencefiction verhalen. In het blad wordt in elke aflevering een kortverhaal gepubliceerd met verhalen over tijdreizen: “Tharg’s Future Shocks”.

Ik schreef “Time To Go”, een verhaal barstensvol spot rond clichés inzake tijdreizen en stuurde het op. Ik kreeg vrij snel antwoord. Ze vonden het een zeer goed verhaal maar er zat te weinig actie in. Dat zal wel.

Iets later vroeg Rob Croonenborghs mij of ik geen scenario voor hem wou schrijven. Ik bood hem dit verhaal aan en enkele weken later staken de pagina’s al in mijn mailbox.

De strip werd gepubliceerd in Plots Stripmagazine nr. 10, in juli 2009 en in Fist Full of Comics (Australië) Vol. 2 nr. 8 in maart 2010.

In 2009 I decide to try and write a comic for “Tharg’s Future Shocks” in 2000AD.

I wrote “Time To Go” and crammed it full of comments on the clichés used in time travel stories.

I got an answer pretty quick. They thought the story was rather good but it contained too little action.

Some time later Rob Croonenborghs asked me if I would write a short comic for him. I offered him this comic and a couple of weeks later I received the finished pages in my mailbox.

The comic was published in Plots Stripmagazine #10, in Juli 2009 and in Fist Full of Comics (Australia) Vol. 2 #8 in march 2010.
